Making notes on & copying to your computer |

Many computers have enough memory in their work area called RAM so you can have both your favorite word processor program and these pages on your computer. If so, you can go from the web to your word processor to type notes, and you can also copy materials from my website as you would highlight them on paper. Here is how to do it, and before you quit, be sure to save your work in your word processor. On a Macintosh through System 9.x available programs are to the upper right of the screen where you see the icon or name of the program you are now using; click the mouse pointer there to see a list of what is open and to select any. In OS X programs are shown in the Dock. If you want to make notes or copy something from a page on this site:
Windows is much the same, except available programs are listed in the task bar across the bottom and you must minimize:
